Kelvin J. Harris

Kelvin J. Harris, Co-Founder of Harris Jones Consulting,  is a scholar-practitioner in higher education and organizational leadership.  He received a B.S. degree in Sport & Leisure Management from Eastern Connecticut State University and the M.S in Higher Education Administration from Florida International University.  He has been active in the field of student affairs and higher education for the last 12 years and has been a frequent presenter and facilitator at local, regional and national conference.  Currently Kelvin leads the Leadership Development Programs and Alumni Relations team at UNCF- the United Negro College Fund and where he manages all programmatic, academic empowerment, personal and professional development efforts for the Gates Millennium Scholarship Program.  As a leader, Kelvin is known for his shared leadership approach and his personal philosophy and motto, Lead.Motivate.Inspire.

Kelvin is a doctoral student in the School for Professional Studies concentrating on Organizational Leadership at Northeastern University.  He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, and Kelvin resides in Camp Springs Maryland with his wife, Akilah and children Ethan and Elle.
